Burner Speed:
With this DVD burner you can write to a single layer blank DVD at 16x and rewrite to a DVD+RW disk 8x and DVD-RW 6x. The dual layer +R disks can be written to at 8x which is comparable to some of the other burners.
The slowest this DVD burner burns is when you copy a DVD to a DVD-R DL disk, which is 6x instead of 8x like Sony and Buslink. All other types of disks perform at the maximum read, write and rewrite speeds available.
